Job description

We’re a startup on a mission to scale quickly to Series A 🚀

We’re looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer who can take full ownership of our infrastructure as we scale towards Series A and beyond. This is a high-impact role where you’ll be shaping the backbone of our systems driving best practices, security, scalability, and thrive on complex technical challenge 💪🏻

What You’ll Own:
  • Full rebuild of our cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
  • Design and implementation of a new, secure VPN solution with redundancy and access controls
  • Day‑to‑day management and monitoring of all infrastructure components (servers, networks, containers, CI/CD)
  • AWS cost optimisation across services—implement right‑sizing, lifecycle policies, reserved instances, and architectural improvements
  • Backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
  • Security and access controls across infrastructure and network layers
  • Documentation and knowledge sharing to reduce key‑person risk and improve team self‑sufficiency
  • Working closely with engineering teams to support scalable, reliable deployments
Must‑Have Qualifications 💼
  • 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering role
  • Proven experience in FinTech industry
  • Proficiency with Terraform
  • Strong hands‑on experience with AWS core services (EC2, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.)
  • Experience with EVM stack or Enterprise
  • Experience setting up VPNs, firewalls, security groups, and network access policies
  • A track record of optimising AWS costs in production environments
  • Comfortable owning infrastructure end‑to‑end, from design to implementation and ongoing ops
  • Comfortable working with or debugging systems written in Elixir, JavaScript, and PHP
