As a Senior Financial Services Litigation Attorney, you will handle complex litigation matters involving financial services, securities, FINRA, and commercial disputes from inception through resolution. You will manage client relationships, develop litigation strategies, mentor attorneys, and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.
What You'll Do
  • Manage complex commercial litigation matters from case inception through resolution
  • Represent clients in financial services, securities, FINRA, and commercial litigation disputes
  • Draft and argue motions, pleadings, briefs, and legal documents
  • Handle depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
  • Develop case strategy and provide trusted legal guidance to clients
  • Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and legal staff
  • Collaborate with firm leadership on litigation strategy and client service initiatives
  • Support business development efforts and contribute to practice growth
What You Bring
  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Active New York Bar admission
  • Significant experience handling commercial litigation matters
  • Strong background in financial services litigation
  • Securities litigation experience preferred
  • FINRA arbitration or regulatory experience preferred
  • Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills
  • Ability to independently manage cases and client relationships
  • Experience supervising attorneys or litigation teams
  • Business development experience or ability to develop client relationships
  • Existing portable book of business preferred
  • Ability to meet expected annual billable hours of 1,850
