Job description

Our client is seeking a Senior Attorney or Partner for its New York office with experience in financial services litigation, securities disputes, and FINRA arbitration matters.

The ideal candidate will have experience representing financial institutions, broker-dealers, investment advisors, and other financial industry clients in complex litigation and regulatory matters.

Responsibilities

  • Handle FINRA arbitrations and securities litigation matters

  • Represent financial services clients in state and federal court

  • Draft motions, briefs, and arbitration submissions

  • Manage hearings, depositions, and mediations

  • Advise clients on regulatory and compliance-related disputes

  • Participate in business development initiatives

Qualifications

  • Licensed in New York

  • Strong background in securities litigation and/or FINRA matters

  • Experience with financial services clients required

  • Excellent litigation and client management skills

  • Portable business is a plus but not required

Compensation

  • Partner compensation range: $200,000 - $250,000+

  • Additional compensation for portable business

  • Open to senior associates seeking partnership track opportunities (compensation range: $150,000)
