The FinOps Analyst blends cloud cost management expertise with strong communication skills, delivering consistent insights and recommendations while partnering with Professional Services engineers for advanced optimization and paid engagements. You will play a pivotal role in creating and delivering FinOps strategies that maximize value, enhance efficiency, and drive cost optimization for clientsโ€™ cloud resources. This is an opportunity to help shape, mature, and innovate a growing FinOps practice, with meaningful influence over how services are delivered and scaled. Responsibilities Cloud Cost Management & Optimization Conduct in-depth cost analysis across clientsโ€™ cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.), identifying savings opportunities through usage reduction, rightsizing, and discounting. Support implementation of cost optimization initiatives in partnership with engineering teams. Recurring Client Engagement Develop and manage strong client relationships as a trusted FinOps advisor, scheduling and leading regular FinOps reviews and workshops. Educate clients on FinOps principles, empowering them to make informed financial decisions and develop their internal cloud cost management capabilities. Act as a primary FinOps point of contact, proactively addressing client concerns, suggesting solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction and retention. Reporting, Tooling & Insights Leverage cloud-native and third-party tools (e.g., CoreStack, AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management) to generate standardized reports and insights. Translate complex cost and usage data into clear narratives for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Track outcomes of recommendations and iterate based on customer feedback and changing usage patterns. Practice Support & Standardization Actively develop, refine, and evolve playbooks, templates, and delivery frameworks for an innovative FinOps practice. Keep up to date with industry FinOps trends, pricing models, and emerging cloud tools to continually refine strategies and deliver innovative solutions to clients. Design and implement frameworks for cost governance, budget adherence, and spend accountability, working with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive, effective FinOps execution. Internal Collaboration Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Cloud Engineers, Architects, and Account Managers, to ensure a holistic approach to client service and satisfaction. Share FinOps insights, tools, and best practices within the CSP team to enhance the organizationโ€™s FinOps capabilities and promote a culture of financial accountability. Growth & Innovation Play a key role in evolving the FinOps offering, including shaping scope, deliverables, and success metrics. Influence how FinOps integrates with CSP, Professional Services, and customer success motions. Identify opportunities for automation, improved insights, and new optimization approaches. #ConRes
