Description

The Fine Dining Server at Paradise Valley Country Club is responsible for providing exceptional service to members and guests in the fine dining restaurant. This role involves setting up side stations, performing assigned side work, and ensuring that members and guests have a memorable dining experience. The Fine Dining Server takes orders, communicates with the kitchen, serves meals, checks for member and guest satisfaction, and handles billing and payment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sets up side station and performs assigned side work.
  • Provides immediate attention to all members/guests upon seating.
  • Fills glasses with ice water, answers questions, and suggests menu items.
  • Takes members' and guests' orders.
  • Places orders with the kitchen and informs cooks about any special cooking instructions.
  • Assembles food on a tray and procures items from each station as necessary.
  • Serves meals and places dishes by courses in front of each person.
  • Checks back to ensure member/guest satisfaction and replenishes water and butter as necessary.
  • Removes soiled dishes.
  • Suggests and serves dessert, coffee, and after-dinner drinks.
  • Verifies the accuracy of prices, state and federal taxes, tips, and other charges on all checks.
  • Presents the bill and ensures that members sign their checks accordingly.
  • Keeps tables, the dining room, and bus station areas clean.
  • Advises the supervisor of any complaints as soon as they occur.
  • Performs clean-up and closing duties as assigned by the manager.
  • Attends pre-meal meetings as requested by the Dining Room Supervisor or Dining Room Manager.

 Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in Fine Dining.
  • Team player attitude.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities.
