As a valued member of the admissions team, the Admissions Specialist will play a crucial role in attracting and supporting high-caliber candidates for our Specialized Master's Programs. You'll work alongside an energetic team of professionals who are united by a shared goal, preparing the next generation of ethical business leaders.
Summary:
Reporting to the Senior Associate Director of Admissions for Specialized Master's Programs, the SMP Admissions Specialist supports admissions efforts through strategic communication and direct interaction with prospective students. This role plays a key part in managing applicant pipelines and serves as a first point of contact for prospective students across several programs.
The ideal candidate will be organized, communicative, and comfortable navigating CRM systems and university platforms. The ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and warmth in candidate communications is essential. The position requires collaboration with the admissions team, faculty, current students, and campus partners.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Serve as the initial point of contact for prospective students through email, phone, and one-on-one meetings. Provide detailed and timely responses to inquiries.
  • Coordinate and track prospective student engagement using Slate CRM; maintain accurate records to support the recruitment pipeline.
  • Assist with event preparation and follow-up, including drafting invitations, managing RSVPs, preparing materials, and collecting data for evaluation.
  • Create and maintain reports for internal tracking of admissions funnel activity.

This is a part-time, temporary position, limited to a total of 600 hours over a 12-month period.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in admissions, higher education, customer service, or a related field.
  • Skills & Abilities:
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Proficiency in Google Suite and CRM tools (Slate preferred, but not required)
    • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
    • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and adjust to changing priorities
    • Professional demeanor and customer-service orientation
