JOB SUMMARY

The Systems Specialist administers, configures, and supports business-critical enterprise systems and applications. This role serves as a technical and functional resource, resolving complex system issues, implementing enhancements, and supporting integrations, automation, security, and data integrity. The Systems Specialist partners with business and technology teams to deliver reliable system solutions that support financial and operational processes.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Administer, configure, maintain, and optimize assigned enterprise systems, including workflows, security roles, business rules, system settings, master data, and automated processes.
  • Configure and enhance system functionality, integrations, automation, scripts, queries, extensions, and other technical components to support business requirements.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and escalation resource for complex system and production issues, performing root-cause analysis and coordinating resolution with internal teams, vendors, and other technology partners.
  • Provide Level 3 technical and business process support and facilitate knowledge transfer to strengthen Level 1 and Level 2 support capabilities.
  • Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot system integrations, APIs, connectors, automated workflows, scheduled processes, and data pipelines to maintain reliable data flow across applications.
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to evaluate requirements, assess system impacts, and recommend solutions that improve efficiency, reliability, controls, and data accuracy.
  • Translate business requirements into system configurations, technical specifications, process flows, data mappings, testing requirements, and implementation plans.
  • Support system enhancements, releases, implementations, conversions, and integrations through configuration, testing, data validation, deployment, and production support.
  • Maintain system security, access controls, configurations, and overall system integrity in accordance with company standards, technology requirements, audit requirements, and internal controls.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent education and relevant experience may be considered.
  • 10+ years of progressively responsible experience supporting, administering, configuring, or enhancing enterprise business systems, ERP platforms, financial systems, or other business-critical applications.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting or administering Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Demonstrated experience with enterprise system configuration, integrations, troubleshooting, enhancements, and production support.
  • Experience supporting system implementations, conversions, integrations, upgrades, or significant enhancements in complex or multi-entity environments preferred.
