Job description

Job Title: Financial Systems Project Manager
Location: West Lake Hills, TX
Compensation: $51 - $54 / hour
Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits.
The Financial Systems Project Manager is responsible for leading cross-functional projects that support the implementation, enhancement, integration, and optimization of financial systems. This role serves as a liaison between Finance, Accounting, Operations, IT, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
The ideal candidate has project management experience with financial systems, a basic understanding of accounting principles, and working knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes.
Technical Requirements:
• 5+ years of project management experience, preferably supporting financial systems, ERP platforms, accounting systems, or enterprise business applications.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles, financial processes, general ledger concepts, reconciliations, reporting, month-end close, and financial controls.
• Working knowledge of SDLC processes and project delivery methodologies, including requirements gathering, design, development/configuration, testing, deployment, and support.
Nice To Have Skills:
• Experience with ERP or financial platforms such as Workday, Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Lawson, NetSuite, or similar systems.
• Experience with integrated system projects, data flows, interfaces, reporting tools, workflow automation, or system conversions.
• PMP, Scrum Master, Agile, or related project management certification preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
