The Opportunity:
The Director of Shared Services will lead the transformation and management of a centralized finance shared services organization responsible for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Treasury operations across a multi-location international manufacturing enterprise.
This role will integrate historically decentralized finance functions into a streamlined, scalable shared services model that improves financial discipline, operational efficiency, and working capital performance.
The Director will drive process standardization, strengthen internal controls, enable automation and ERP optimization, and build a high-performing team that delivers consistent service across the enterprise. This is a high-impact leadership role that combines operational execution with enterprise-wide change leadership.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Lead the integration and centralization of AP, AR, and Treasury functions into a unified shared services organization.
  • Develop and execute a transformation roadmap to standardize processes, policies, and service-level agreements across business units.
  • Oversee accounts payable operations, including vendor onboarding, invoice processing, payment workflows, and automation initiatives.
  • Lead accounts receivable processes including billing, collections, dispute resolution, credit management, and cash application accuracy.
  • Centralize treasury activities including cash management, liquidity forecasting, banking relationships, and cash visibility across domestic and international entities.
  • Drive working capital improvements through disciplined management of DSO, DPO, and cash forecasting.
  • Leverage ERP systems and finance automation tools to streamline workflows and reduce manual processing.
  • Establish operational dashboards and performance metrics for AP, AR, and Treasury functions.
  • Strengthen internal controls, governance, and audit readiness across transactional finance processes.
  • Partner with finance leadership and regional teams to manage change and ensure smooth transition from decentralized operations.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing shared services team and foster a service-oriented culture across the enterprise.

What You'll Need to Be Successful:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive finance operations experience.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience within a shared services or centralized finance environment.
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing AP, AR, and Treasury operations.
  • Experience operating within multi-location or international organizations.
  • Experience leading shared services transformation or centralization initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems, process automation, and finance technology tools.
  • Background in manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Experience in private equity-backed or high-growth organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive cost optimization and working capital improvements.
