About this Opportunity:

As a Senior Program Manager, Automations, you will be responsible for leading large-scale enterprise automation initiatives that improve operational efficiency, reduce risk, and enhance customer and employee experiences. This role oversees the end-to-end lifecycle of automation programs across multiple business units, partnering with technology, operations, and product teams to identify opportunities, prioritize initiatives, and ensure successful implementation. The ideal candidate brings strong program leadership experience within complex enterprise environments and has the ability to translate business needs into scalable automation solutions. This role also requires strong analytical capabilities, including the ability to work with operational data using SQL or basic query languages to evaluate automation performance and drive data-informed decisions. As we continue to evolve and live our Orion values, we are looking for someone to grow with us.

Location Status:
It is anticipated that an incumbent in this role will work as a Hybrid employee, with three (3) or more days each week required on-site at one of the listed office locations.

Candidates should be located within a commutable distance to an office. Internal candidates currently aligned to an Orion office location may be given preference; however, internal candidates with varying work arrangements may be considered based on experience and business needs. Work location is subject to change based on business needs.

In this role, you'll get to:
  • Lead enterprise-scale automation programs from strategy through delivery and optimization
  • Manage multiple concurrent initiatives across departments and technology teams
  • Define program roadmaps, delivery milestones, governance frameworks, and success metrics
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, RPA developers, data teams, and business stakeholders
  • Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and program escalations
  • Identify high-impact automation opportunities across operational workflows
  • Partner with automation engineering teams to deliver solutions using RPA, workflow automation, AI, or orchestration platforms
  • Establish frameworks for automation intake, prioritization, and value realization tracking
  • Ensure automation solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture
  • Use SQL or basic query languages to analyze operational datasets and automation performance metrics
  • Measure program outcomes including efficiency gains, service improvements, and cost reductions
  • Partner with analytics teams to build reporting dashboards and operational insights
  • Use data to continuously optimize automation pipelines and prioritization
  • Partner with senior leaders across operations, technology, and product teams
  • Communicate automation strategy, program status, and results to executive leadership
  • Drive organizational adoption of automation solutions and process improvements
  • Establish governance standards and delivery best practices for automation programs
  • Ensure alignment with compliance, risk, and enterprise technology policies
  • Continuously evaluate program performance and refine automation strategy
We're looking for talent who:
  • Has 5+ years of experience managing large enterprise programs or initiatives, preferably within automation, digital transformation, or operational transformation
  • Has a proven track record delivering complex cross-functional initiatives in large organizations
  • Has experience working with automation technologies such as RPA, workflow automation, AI, or orchestration platforms
  • Has working knowledge of SQL or other query languages with the ability to retrieve and analyze operational data
  • Has strong analytical, program management, and stakeholder management skills
  • Manages multiple initiatives and priorities simultaneously
  • Hs strong communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership
  • Has experience with automation platforms such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Power Automate
  • Hs experience with data visualization or BI platforms such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Has a background in Lean, Six Sigma, or process optimization methodologies
  • Has experience in financial services, fintech, or other highly regulated industries
  • Has a PMP, PgMP, or similar program management certification
  • Has a minimum of a bachelor's degree
  • Has a minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Owns and manages relationships with stakeholders directly and works effectively with people at all levels in an organization
