JOB SUMMARYย
This individual will work closely with and serve as a key resource to the Manager of FP&A.ย
Broadly defined, the Sr. Financial Analyst will work with the department heads and the CFO toย produce business analytics across business segments to facilitate and drive the growth of each.ย
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyzes business trends and aligns financial forecasts and long-range planning processes with ourย business leaders. Drives business value by providing financial and analytical counsel to facilitateย decision-marking around strategic business initiatives
- Prepares monthly financial reporting for clients, including variance and financial statement analysis.ย Able to clearly communicate a cohesive and concise story around business drivers behind financialย data and potential implications on future results
- Supports the annual budgeting process by incorporating business initiatives, economic trends, andย operational effectiveness. Facilitates alignment of budget to business strategies and businessย partners
- Understands market dynamics and competitors. Conducts complex analysis, synthesizes andย summarizes implications to business, influencing business partners using analytics and businessย understanding
- Oversees invoice calculations, coordinates with development to drive process improvements,ย leveraging customer contracts to ensure accurate and timely invoicing to customers
- Other Ad Hoc analysis and support as warranted
KNOWLEDGE & REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum years of work experience: 4 years
- 4+ years of experience in financial analysis and financial modeling in a growth company.ย
- Minimum level of education or education/experience: Bachelors Degree in business related field
- Strong understanding of accounting functions (Variable Cost Accounting, GAAP, working with theย Trial Balance, etc.).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel abilities, including creating financial modeling and reporting
- Strong analytical experience with proven capacity to understand, evaluate and execute on financialย processes a must.
- Experience in the healthcare related field is desirable.
- Experience working with privately owned companies
- Adaptability to an evolving organizational structure
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills
- Able to assist others with responsibilities

- Cultural sensitivity. The senior financial analystโs success will depend upon his/her ability to workย with multiple department heads and partner effectively with the existing management teams
