Client Transactions Coordinator / Trader - Tempo Wealth

Location: Independence, OH

Tempo Wealth is a fast-growing, fee-only financial planning firm based in Independence, Ohio. We are seeking a Client Transaction Coordinator / Trader to join our expanding team and play a key role in administration of client accounts and execution of client workflows. This position executes all client account transactions and trading for Tempo Wealth. Responsible for timely, accurate processing of trades, money movements, Roth conversions, and custodial actions across all custodians, maintaining complete documentation for compliance and client reporting.

This position can be hybrid after a training period in the office.

Salary and Benefits

  • Base salary $70K-85K, commensurate with experience and credentials

Responsibilities

  • Execute trades on all custodian platforms per advisor/CEC PRF workflow
  • Process lump-sum investments, DCA schedules, rebalances, and reallocations
  • Purchase CDs, T-Bills, and bonds as directed
  • Facilitate Roth conversions and other tax-impacted trade sequences
  • Run monthly Schwab residuals, distribute/journal as needed
  • Track, correct, and document trade errors for SEC compliance
  • EFT sheet maintenance, and margin transfers
  • Support systematic contributions/distributions and initial investment trade logistics
  • Ensure new assets tied to your role are captured/attributed correctly in the Opportunity record and reflected in reporting
  • Handle ACH pulls, wires, and disbursements with correct trade sequencing
  • Manage internal journals and account-to-account transfers
  • Update fee sheets and remove excess funds as required
  • Execute billing related trade and cash management sequences (including restricted account fee funding) per the published billing workflow; coordinate with DO/advisors and provide completion status to CEC

Qualifications

  • 5 years plus experience in wealth management/financial planning firm that custodies at Schwab
  • Expert-level Schwab/Altruist ops and trading workflow fluency
  • High precision under time pressure; strong compliance instincts
  • Proficiency with Advyzon records
  • Excellent task management and follow-through
  • Clear internal communication with team
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Tech-savvy, with the ability to learn quickly
  • Problem solving and independent worker - we do not micromanage

Qualified candidates will begin with a 15-30-minute Zoom interview conducted by our external hiring consultant. If selected to proceed, candidates will complete a Career History Form and participate in additional interviews with Tempo Wealth leadership.
