Job description

Hi, we're CompanyCam.
We're a simple-to-use photo documentation and productivity app for contractors of all commercial and home services industries. Packed with intuitive functionality, CompanyCam facilitates unparalleled communication and accountability across a contractor's entire business. We're committed to providing a consumer-grade, game-changing experience that helps our users build trust within their company and with their customers.
But don't let that corporate description fool you-the people behind our buttoned-up product are laid-back (but hardworking), genuine, and kickass, and you could be one of them!
The Role
We're looking for a strategic, people-first Senior Vice President of Finance to join CompanyCam's leadership team.
As our SVP of Finance, you'll translate CompanyCam's strategy into disciplined execution, strong financial operations, and long-term value creation. Reporting to the CFO, you'll own internal financial operations, freeing the CFO to focus on investors, the board, M&A, and capital strategy, while ensuring the company is aligned around clear financial and strategic priorities.
You'll lead our Strategic Finance, and Accounting, delivering accurate reporting and forward-looking insights that support smart, confident decision-making. Partnering closely with leaders across the business, you'll help connect strategy to execution and strengthen how we operate as we scale.
Most importantly, you'll help level up our finance organization by investing in people, improving systems, and modeling thoughtful, transparent leadership.
Location: This role is based in or near Lincoln or Omaha, Nebraska.
What You'll Do
  • Lead strategic planning & financial execution by owning long-range planning, operating plans, and financial models that connect company strategy to scalable, high-confidence outcomes.
  • Partner across the business with Sales, Product, Operations, and Executive Leadership to guide tradeoffs, inform decisions, and ensure Finance accelerates growth.
  • Own accounting, audit & financial operations by leading the Controller and accounting team to deliver accurate reporting, strong controls, clean audits, and an audit-ready foundation.
  • Lead the Data & Analytics function to deliver a trusted "single source of truth" for the business. Advance the company from descriptive reporting to predictive insights through work such as churn prediction, LTV forecasting, and cohort analytics.
  • Drive executive & board reporting by partnering with the CFO and CEO to deliver clear, timely materials and a consistent financial narrative.
  • Lead high-impact strategic initiatives including M&A support, fundraising preparation, international expansion, and IPO-readiness efforts.
The Impact You'll Have
At CompanyCam, your work makes a real impact. Whether you're writing code, supporting customers, or designing experiences, your contributions directly shape the product we deliver and the people we serve. We're building something that helps real people solve real problems-and we believe that kind of work is best done by a team that reflects the world around us. In this role, you'll drive impact by:
  • Bring clarity to complexity by turning strategy, data, and financial insight into confident decisions across the company.
  • Strengthen how CompanyCam scales by building durable financial systems, processes, and teams that support long-term growth.
  • Enable leaders to move faster and smarter by ensuring Finance is a trusted partner and accelerator across the business.
  • Help shape CompanyCam's future by guiding high-stakes decisions that drive sustainable growth and long-term enterprise value.
What You'll Bring
  • 15+ years of experience in finance leadership roles, including time at a high-growth, PE- or VC-backed company scaling toward or beyond $200M in ARR.
  • Proven people leadership experience leading large, multi-disciplinary teams across FP&A, Accounting, and Data/Analytics.
  • Experience integrating acquisitions, with preferred background in investment banking or corporate finance.
  • Executive presence and credibility to lead investor conversations, represent Finance at the Board level, and confidently step in for the CFO when needed.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to build structure from scratch, creating clear frameworks where none exist.
  • Strong storytelling skills that turn complex financial models into clear, compelling narratives leaders can quickly understand and act on.
  • Operational rigor and attention to detail, with a deep respect for accurate accounting, clean data pipelines, and dependable reporting.
  • Technical fluency across Finance and Data, able to collaborate seamlessly with Accountants, FP&A, and Data/BI teams while bridging technical constraints and business needs.
  • A continuous growth-mindset, with a focus on learning, embracing challenges, and continuously improving.
  • A knack for creativity and innovation, bringing fresh ideas to the table and solving complex problems.
