Job description

Overview:

In the role of Operations Manager, you will be travelling among multiple job sites and provide training and support to the service teams. Responsible for approving payroll activities and providing support to site forecasting and budgets. Being the backup for responsible job sites when managers are out of the office to ensure that all strategic goals and objectives are met.

Location: Jackson, TN

Essential Job Functions 

  • Regularly travel to supported sites, dedicating a minimum of one week per month for on-site support. 
  • Directly support and collaborate with distinct sites, each representing different clients/companies, under the supervisor's guidance. 
  • Provide support for training new team members and take on the role of a trainer and mentor for new managers within the team. 
  • Assist in forecasting and budgeting processes. 
  • Take responsibility as the payroll approver for designated sites, ensuring accuracy and compliance with payroll policies. 
  • Act as the primary backup for the hiring manager during travel or out-of-office periods. 
  • Provide backup coverage for sites when managers are absent, maintaining operational continuity. 
  • Act as a payroll backup for the hiring manager's team, contributing to payroll-related activities when needed. 

Education/Experience 

  • Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of process management experience 
  • 1+ years supervisory experience 
  • Highly effective personnel and process management skills and techniques 
  • Proven skills and knowledge on training, coaching, and performance evaluation 
  • Knowledge of MS Office software: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word 
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written 
  • Ability to solve complex problems, including finance 
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail

Salary Range: $60,573.66 - $75,717.08 annually, depending on experience and geographic location.
