As a Security Officer Concierge Desk in Buffalo, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a professional financial institution location as a Front Desk Officer, where you will welcome visitors, manage access, observe lobby activity, and support a polished environment through strong communication and customer service. In this stationary role, you will help to deter security-related concerns while reflecting our agile, reliable, and innovative approach, backed by a caring culture, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a financial institution location.
  • Monitor lobby and entrance activity, greet visitors, verify identification and/or access permissions, and help to deter unauthorized entry in a professional manner.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and first responders when appropriate.
  • Maintain awareness of front desk activity, document daily events and/or unusual occurrences, and support access control and visitor management processes according to site expectations.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
