The Controller is responsible for leading accounting operations while supervising HR functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and effective workforce cost management within a construction-focused organization.

  • Oversee general accounting operations including payroll, accruals, and reconciliations using QuickBooks Online
  • Supervise HR processes including payroll administration, benefits oversight, and compliance
  • Partner with leadership on compensation and benefits cost analysis for field and project-based employees
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and internal controls
  • Develop and maintain financial reporting and forecasting models related to workforce costs
  • Support audits related to payroll, benefits, and employee-related expenses
  • Analyze workforce metrics to support strategic decision-making
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or advanced degree preferred
