Job description

Ready to Take a Seat at the Leadership Table?

KRG Partners is conducting a search for a Controller on behalf of a well-established and growing organization in the Norcross area. The position is in the office (Monday - Friday).

This is more than a traditional Controller role. We're looking for a strategic, hands-on finance leader who enjoys partnering with executive leadership, driving operational excellence, and making a meaningful impact across the organization.

If you thrive in an entrepreneurial environment where your voice is heard and your contributions truly matter, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for!

What You'll Do

As the Controller, you'll serve as a key member of the leadership team with responsibility for:

  • Leading all accounting and financial operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, cash management, and month-end close.
  • Preparing timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
  • Developing and strengthening internal controls, financial processes, and operational efficiencies.
  • Partnering with executive leadership on budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and strategic planning initiatives.
  • Leading and mentoring the administrative team while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Supporting day-to-day business operations, including sales and service initiatives, human resources, and talent acquisition as needed.
  • Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local financial, tax, and regulatory requirements.

What We're Looking For

✔ Proven experience as a Controller or Senior Accounting Leader

✔ Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting

✔ Experience overseeing accounting operations, payroll, and internal controls

✔ Bachelor's degree

✔ Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop teams

✔ Hands-on, collaborative leadership style

✔ Strong business acumen with the ability to partner across departments

Why This Opportunity?

This is an opportunity to join a stable, growing organization where you'll have the ability to influence financial strategy, improve business processes, and work closely with executive leadership in a highly visible role.
