We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Manager, Content Strategy with expertise in the financial services sector. In this client-facing role, you will be responsible for managing individual content workstreams from strategy to execution. The ideal candidate has a talent for translating complex financial information into clear, compelling content for diverse audiences, including the general public, wealth advisors, and other financial professionals. You will focus heavily on content development, including thought leadership, executive social media programs, website content, and social channels, while integrating modern SEO and AI search strategies. This is a great opportunity for a strategist looking to grow their skills and take ownership of key client deliverables. Agency experience is a plus.

An ideal candidate will be passionate about telling strategic and creative stories on deadline and familiar with digital storytelling across earned, owned and paid media.

The ideal candidate would have:

  • 3-5 years of content strategy experience with a specific focus on the finance industry.
  • A proven ability to understand and distill complex financial topics into engaging and accessible content.
  • Experience in content development for various formats, including thought leadership articles, executive social media, websites, and social posts.
  • Knowledge of SEO and AI search principles and how to apply them to financial content.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage a content workstream proactively and autonomously.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Client-facing experience and the confidence to present content strategies and ideas.

What you'll do:

  • Manage the day-to-day execution of content strategies for key financial services clients.
  • Develop a range of content, including thought leadership pieces, social media content, and website copy.
  • Translate complex financial subjects into clear, accurate, and compelling narratives for various audiences.
  • Implement SEO and AI search best practices to increase content visibility and impact.
  • Collaborate with designers, account teams, and clients to ensure content is high-quality and strategically aligned.
  • Contribute to editorial calendar planning and actively propose new content ideas.

Salary Range: $70,000 USD - $85,000 USD

Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee's/applicant's background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
