Job description

Client Service Associate

Immediate opening

Preference given to previous accounting office environment.

We are seeking an energetic, friendly, and outgoing person with strong work ethic to provide administrative and operational support for professional tax office.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • First point of contact with clients on phone or in office.
  • Appointment setting and confirmation.
  • Receive, sort, scan, and securely file confidential tax documents and correspondence.
  • Processing tax returns and other electronic filings.
  • Assembling tax returns and financial statements.
  • Assist in mailing/uploading tax organizers to clients.
  • Filing and client file maintenance (both physical and on network).
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of front desk reception area and common office area.

Requirements:

  • One to two years of office or customer service experience, ideally in a accounting, financial or legal setting.
  • Exposure to Ultra Tax and Lacerte tax software a plus.
  • Strong computer skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn and become proficient with tax software quickly.
  • Experience with ShareFile, including managing confidential client data, large file transfers, encrypted communications and setting up e-file signature requests and tracking.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, high attention to detail and accuracy, and strict adherence to client privacy and data security.
  • Ability to thrive and multi-task in fast paced, changing environment.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as within a team.

Standard office hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. During busier times of the year, additional hours may be required. 

Salary range - $41,600.00 - $52,000.00 (commensurate based on experience).
