Conduct research studies of existing and potential investments in selected areas and develop recommendations. Depending on the research approach, analysis may focus on an individual security, sector, or country. Identify and investigate pertinent factors influencing investment decisions. Quantify and interpret potential risks and rewards. Recommend acquiring, holding, or disposing of investments. Monitor designated investments to identify trends and conditions. Assist in the development of policy guidelines. Monitor the market for anomaly switches to take advantage of these.

Job Description Responsibilities

Work within established research systems to deliver prescribed outcomes for a designated part of an economic research program. Conduct research and select relevant information to enable analysis of key themes and trends using primary data sources and business intelligence tools. Prepare and coordinate the completion of various data and analytics reports. Contribute information to business cases for research funding to quantify current costs, justify project investment, and identify the return on investment.
