We are seeking a Global Travel Operations Specialist to oversee the operational delivery and continuous improvement of Capital Group's global travel program. You'd serve as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and external partners, overseeing travel systems, vendor performance, and program execution while leveraging data, automation, and AI to drive efficiency, results and satisfaction with the travel program. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, the Specialist leads global initiatives that enhance traveler experience, strengthen compliance, and optimize program performance, while ensuring effective risk management and adherence to global safety protocols.

Primary responsibilities/essential functions:

  • Execute and drive delivery of the corporate travel program, acting as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and external travel partners (e.g., Travel Management Company, airlines, hotels), and independently managing day-to-day operations and issue resolutions.

  • Own and optimize travel booking tools and platforms, ensuring appropriate configuration, functionality, policy alignment, and effective user experience.

  • Manage vendor performance and relationships, monitor service levels and key performance indicators, and work directly with suppliers to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.

  • Exercise independent judgment and discretion in resolving complex travel-related issues, including guideline interpretation, supplier terms, and service disruptions, determining appropriate courses of action with operational, financial, associate experience and compliance implications.

  • Identify and implement process improvements, including the use of AI and automation, to enhance efficiency, scalability, and the traveler's experience.

  • Execute global travel initiatives, communications, and training efforts, supporting program adoption, compliance, and continuous improvement.

  • Analyze travel data and program performance, identifying trends, risks, and cost-saving opportunities, and translating insights into actionable enhancements.

  • Support travel risk management and duty-of-care efforts, including traveler tracking, disruption response, and applying sound judgment in time-sensitive situations.

  • Produce dashboards and reporting to monitor performance, compliance, and sustainability, supporting informed decision-making and program transparency.

Charlotte Base Salary Range: $77,610-$124,176Southern California Base Salary Range: $90,440-$144,704New York Base Salary Range: $95,871-$153,394

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
