Job description

Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, provides technical financial support for an assigned organizational unit requiring fundamental knowledge of business math and bookkeeping processes. Reviews requests to determine appropriateness with regard to institutional requirements, proper authorization and conformance with established laws, policies and procedures. Provides service to UAB community and third party agencies in problem resolution. Assists with the maintenance and reconciliation of budgets and accounts, reviews requisitions, orders equipment and supplies. Collects financial information and provides routine or simple reports and analyses as requested by superior. May perform other duties of a clerical or technical nature. Specific software may be required.
Salary Range: $15.00 - $23.55
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED and three (3) years of related experience required.
