Job Description
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for supporting, with guidance from the Director, the planning, forecasting, and executive-level financial reporting for supported business unites and for spending variance analysis, financial analysis, and interpreting financial information to operational leadership.Job Duties
Performs month-end closing duties to include variance analysis, account reconciliations, journal entries, and results reporting.
Tracks and investigates financial trends and events.
Performs actual and forecast analysis and reporting, including spending, headcount, etc.
Assists with the development of financial business cases (ROI, breakeven, projections modeling, etc.) for proposed programs, projects, and initiatives.
Monitors KPIs for assigned organizations.
Performs ad hoc research and analysis as needed.
Assists with the preparation and submission of industry reports.
Designs, develops, and monitors expense allocations (departments, colleges, programs, courses, etc.).
Helps to design, implement, and maintain better financial analysis, reporting, and inquiry tools.
Completes financial analysis and reports for management as requested.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
