ASSISTANT CONTROLLER - COASTAL FLORIDA
Remote/relocation/hybrid
REQUIRES EITHER ANNUITY INSURANCE CARRIER EXPERIENCE or HEAVY CONCENTRATION OF ANNUITY INSURANCE CLIENTS IN PUBLIC ACCOUNTING SETTING
This role offers a path to the Controller's chair. We're looking for some solid insurance accounting experience in an annuity carrier/public accounting with annuity clientele along with strong management/mentorship experience. KEY- Target candidate would be strong Manager or Senior Manager from public.
REQUIRES, without exception, the basics in an annuity carrier or public accounting role-general ledger, internal controls, financial analysis, accounting policy, financial statements, banking, financial system, reinsurance, and process improvements. Also like to see financial operations accounting experience. Of course, CPA with Public is preferred, but not required. We're targeting a minimum of 6 years' experience showing upward advancement and growth.
