We are seeking a seasoned finance professional for a senior financial analyst role within our Operations and Manufacturing Finance team at NVIDIA. This senior individual contributor role will be focused on modeling, analyzing, and forecasting our large and growing component cost and inventory picture. Ownership spans from systems maintenance and enhancement, analytics and recommendations, to customer and business partner relationship management. This position is crucial for ensuring an accurate understanding of current and future cost and inventory to support financial projections and decision making. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of cost modeling and a passion for developing, maintaining, and evolving professional information systems to meet the needs of a rapidly growing business.
What you'll be doing:
  • Partner with Engineering, Operations, and Finance associates to understand product architecture and cost drivers that are pertinent to accurate cost projections.
  • Use established tools for preparing cost and inventory projections and deliver timely and reliable analysis within corporate timelines.
  • Take ownership of forecast accuracy and ongoing operational improvement.
  • Be the go-to expert within Finance for understanding and driving analytics and efficiencies related to our key Bill of Materials (BOM) components.

What we need to see:
  • 12+ years experience building and operating professional automated systems for business intelligence and financial analysis.
  • Deep expertise in complex MS Excel/Access models, and an ability to maintain and make system enhancements to said systems.
  • Experience in Bill of Materials (BOM) analysis and product cost forecasting.
  • Experience with excess inventory forecasting and management.
  • Highly detail-oriented and driven to find ways to improve accuracy and process efficiency.
  • Customer service oriented, responding regularly to questions from business partners and maintaining tight cross-group relationships.
  • Self-motivated and capable of handling high levels of ambiguity and time pressure independently while working across multiple teams and functions.
  • Career focus in corporate finance, cost analysis, or FP&A.
  • Intellectual curiosity and passion for system building.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Finance or Business field.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 168,000 USD - 258,750 USD.
