Job Summary:We are seeking a motivated Financial Analyst to support our manufacturing operations at the Carson Plant. This role provides financial planning, analysis, and reporting to guide strategic decision-making and improve operational efficiency. The ideal candidate has experience in manufacturing cost accounting, inventory management, and operational finance, and will work onsite with cross-functional teams at our Carson, California facility.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for manufacturing operations, including production costs, overhead, and capital expenditures.
  • Analyze manufacturing costs, identify drivers, and recommend cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs to support operational decisions.
  • Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and engineering teams to provide financial guidance and support initiatives.
  • Conduct variance analysis, evaluate capital investments, and support ad-hoc financial modeling and reporting projects.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 3+ years of financial analysis experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and their application in manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling; advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and financial reporting tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; able to work independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.

Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $75,000 - 105,000 annually, plus benefits and additional incentives based on the level of the role. This is the reasonable estimate that Belden believes it might pay for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Belden may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant's experience, qualifications, and geographical location.
