Job description

Job Title: Financial Analyst Location: Denver, Colorado Type: 7 month Contract Compensation: $52.00 - $54.00 Contractor Work Model: Hybrid – onsite and remote

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-level financial analysis for a portfolio of projects.
  • Support accrual-based accounting activities.
  • Pull actuals and perform “as-built” financials.
  • Serve as a liaison between project teams and accounting departments (capital asset accounting, business area finance, and corporate accounting).
  • Support project managers (PMs) in financial-related activities.
  • Work with software/hardware teams to support project financial needs.
  • Ensure compliance in a regulated industry.
  • Perform month-end activities.
  • Support a team of 10 Portfolio Coordinators.
  • Work closely with PMs, controllers, and corporate accounting.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of financial analyst experience (3-5 years of financial experience preferred).
  • Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., banking, government).
  • SAP experience.
  • SharePoint experience.
  • Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
  • Strong financial and/or accounting background with ability to perform month-end duties.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Customer service mindset.
  • Quick learner with aptitude for new tools.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow is a plus.
  • Degree or working toward a degree in finance/accounting preferred in lieu of experience.
