What You'll Do

  • Triage patients and obtain medical histories, vital signs, and assessments
  • Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, surgeries, and procedures
  • Provide compassionate nursing care from admission through discharge
  • Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
  • Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, fluid therapy, and diagnostic sample collection
  • Obtain quality radiographs and perform in-house laboratory testing
  • Assist with surgical and dental procedures, including patient preparation, anesthesia monitoring, and recovery
  • Practice low-stress, fear-free patient handling techniques
  • Educate clients on preventive care, treatment plans, and medications
  • Maintain accurate medical records and clean, organized treatment areas
  • Support a positive, efficient workflow throughout the hospital
