Job description

The Finance Transformation Project Manager leads and executes the systems and process transformation initiatives run out of the Office of the CFO. The role requires strategic planning, stakeholder management, and disciplined delivery of projects that align with the CFO's transformation agenda and the broader goals of the Rohit Group. The Project Manager oversees the full project lifecycle across finance systems and process change, driving efficiency, control, and digital enablement, and is responsible for planning, organizing, resourcing, and directing each project so that it meets its intended goals on time, on budget, and within scope and quality.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Project Management and Execution

  • Act as and model the behaviours of an exemplary project manager in leading all project management activities.
  • Lead delivery of finance systems and process transformation initiatives, including ERP, document management, reporting, and analytics solutions, within a complex multi-division structure.
  • Manage end-to-end delivery lifecycles, from gathering business requirements and defining roadmaps through execution, go-live, and post-implementation support.
  • Review and manage feasibility assessments, current and future-state process designs, solution designs, and design documentation.
  • Manage, monitor, and report milestone status through detailed plans and schedules, ensuring each project is on budget, on schedule, and within the defined scope and quality.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies, and manage them to closure to keep delivery on track.

Stakeholder and Change Management

  • Build trusted, customer-focused relationships across finance and the divisions; align teams to shared goals; raise issues; and schedule and facilitate the working and steering sessions that keep projects moving.
  • Act as the liaison between technical and solution-design teams and senior leadership, ensuring solutions align with strategic business and finance needs.
  • Develop and execute change management strategies, including stakeholder engagement, training, and communication plans that drive adoption of new systems and processes.
  • Guide teams through change and uncertainty, managing the people side of transformation alongside the technical delivery.

Technology and Innovation Leadership

  • Evaluate, recommend, and deliver finance technology initiatives (ERP such as Dynamics 365, document management and SharePoint, Power BI and Fabric analytics) to strengthen decision-making and operational efficiency.
  • Direct data integration, business intelligence, automation, and financial reporting initiatives that enhance the finance function's capabilities.
  • Provide informed technical input to guidelines and standards, working with solution-design teams to keep solutions fit for purpose.

Performance and Continuous Improvement

  • Establish project KPIs, track performance, and report progress to finance and enterprise leadership.
  • Optimize project management methodologies to improve efficiency, reduce cost, and streamline finance processes.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess impact and identify opportunities for enhancement and scalability.

This role requires a strategic mindset, stakeholder excellence, and technical fluency to manage and deliver the projects that advance the CFO's transformation agenda.

  • Release and deployment management: manage the release schedule, plan and execute deployments and cutovers, collaborate with stakeholders, ensure the agreed scope is delivered, and maintain risk-mitigation plans.
  • Processes and procedures: develop, execute, and continuously improve delivery and lifecycle-management processes and procedures for the transformation office.
  • Maintain approved project budgets, business cases, and benefits-realization documentation.
  • Develop detailed project plans and track progress against schedules, reporting variances early.
