About this role

We are recruiting for a Project Manager to join our Project Delivery group in Edmonton.

This position is Remote and you must reside in the Edmonton, AB area.

The Project Manager is responsible to lead all aspects of the job. This includes the estimating, project planning, labour management, procurement, billing, communications, and wrap up of each project.

Here's how your role will strengthen our team.

Your responsibilities

  • Work with clients and identify potential business opportunities
  • Estimate projects and submit tenders
  • Review contracts for onerous clauses and conditions
  • Maintain good relationship with suppliers, consultants, general contractors and end users
  • Manage project financials (including billing), purchasing, schedules and labour
  • Mitigate project risk, deficiencies and estimate changes as needed
  • Work with internal stakeholders, field staff and customers, to ensure projects remain on track, on budget and meet expectations
  • Be present on jobsites as required and, upon project completion, review outcomes with the foreman and superintendent to discuss successes and challenges

Your experience and skills

  • Electrical trade certificate, Electrical Engineering degree or Electrical Technologist diploma/certificate
  • 3+ years' experience in Electrical Project Management and/or Estimating
  • Previous experience with estimating programs, specifically Accubid (Accubid Pro and Change Order) an asset
  • Good computer skills including MS Office, Procore, AutoCAD, etc.
  • Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
  • Strong communication and team working skills
