Job Description:

Airbus Aerosystems Kinston is looking for a Digital Finance Product Manager to join our team based in Kinston, NC

This is a critical digital role within our newly established Digital team in Kinston, instrumental in ensuring end to end stability and performance of our Digital Finance Solution with a primary focus on ERP (SAP) solution. You'll be the on-site digital representative for the digital finance solutions providing a vital link between our local Kinston site and the central ERP Centre of Excellence (CoE) for all these subjects.

Initially, you will be the Digital Finance leader to ensure the deployment of our digital finance solutions (local & central) to the Kinston site and facilitate the move to the end state finalizing the transition to Airbus. This means looking beyond the immediate transition, understanding the bigger picture, being familiar with the strategy and the different digital finance solutions, and supporting decisions that align with our long-term objectives. Beyond this, you'll play a crucial role to ensure overall consistency and ensure the Digital Finance solutions are maintained by anticipating evolutions needed.

In the meantime, this role will support the creation and stabilization of a small Digital Finance team in the North America Region in order to be able to face current and future challenges.

This position offers a unique opportunity to play a key role for Digital Finance in North America, supporting immediate key projects and activities, and contributing strategically to the success of our manufacturing ramp-up in a dynamic environment undergoing significant transformation in the North America Region.

Your Challenges:

Manage and lead the transition period from an overall Digital Finance perspective: 40%

  • Ensure services delivered from existing suppliers are in line with the current contracts to secure the day to day activities. (bugs / defects resolution as per TSA) until the transition to the end state is secured.

  • Anticipate, Advice & Secure on potential mandatory small evolutions / change requests of the As-Is solutions with the existing suppliers being and remaining compliant / efficient.

  • Develop deep understanding of the As-Is solutions (end to end) with processes associated to ease the transition to the Digital Finance central and local solutions.

  • Be the focal point between Kinston local teams and the central SAP ERP CoE (Finance), ensuring effective communication and alignment on Finance solutions.

  • Gather and anticipate local and legal requirements / specificities and liaise with local/central teams.

Manage the end state deployments: 30%

  • Together with the Digital regional Domains, being fully responsible and accountable for the Digital Operations service performance of the local site

  • Supply Chain: In alignment with regional & global sourcing strategies: drive the suppliers activities related to Digital Operations solutions and services, track the suppliers performance for any deliveries for Operations, may it be for project or for run activities

Manage and secure efficiency and reliability after the end state deployment : 15%

  • Change: define and lead the change management / plant adoption and implementation of the Digital solutions being delivered to the Operations at plant level, whichever team, function, Airbus entity or external supplier delivers them.

[After full securitization of the 3 main missions above], act as the key stakeholder to secure Digital Finance in the Region

  • Steer the creation and stabilization of the Digital Finance Activities with Central Digital Finance Team in Europe

  • Steer & secure with Digital North America the local Digital finance activities

  • Ensure that overall application portfolio is maintained and secured end to end on Digital side

  • Steer the Digital strategy definition for Finance (3y & 5y) for local and central applications ensuring alignment with the central team.

Your Boarding Pass:

  • Bachelor Degree in Information Technology or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 15 years of experience in Digital and/or Finance processes and their integration within an ERP environment (e.g., SAP FI, CO, PS, QM, S/4HANA) in a manufacturing or industrial context. Additional experiences in operations / logistics with Finance integration is highly desired.

  • Minimum 5 years experience working with and supporting Service Now and Integrated Tools

  • Experience in managing external suppliers deliverables.

  • Work effectively with multi-functional international teams and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

  • Proven experience ideally within a large-scale Digital transformation context in a similar role

  • Ability to plan, prioritise, organise, schedule, and execute assignments

  • Analytical skills, with strong-problem solving capability

  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills

  • Knowledge in the areas of ITSM, ITAM, ITIL, and KPI reporting

  • Domestic and International travels ad-hoc

  • Proficiency in written and spoken English

Preferred Experience:

  • Minimum of ITIL foundations with advanced ITIL certifications is a plus

  • Technical certification in one of the following: Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Cisco Certified Network Professional, Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional

  • Minimum of ITIL foundations with advanced ITIL certifications is a plus

  • Experience in post-merger integration or transition projects, especially in multi-system environments (desired).

  • Experience with quality management systems and performance monitoring frameworks.

  • Demonstrated ability in risk management and operational excellence.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Project Management certification is a plus

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Knowledge of new concepts and technologies such as Finance Automation, Analytics is a plus.

  • A proactive mindset with a strong drive for results and continuous improvement.
