Compensation: Competitive + Performance Based

About Us

Gilchrist Automotive is a high-performing, customer-focused automotive group where professionalism, integrity, and teamwork drive everything we do. At our Ford store, we operate with a strict no re-hire policy—we are a one-shot employer. We hire the right people, support them, and expect high-level performance.

We are seeking an experienced, capable Finance Manager—not someone looking for a first shot at the role, but someone ready to execute at a professional level from day one.

What We’re Looking For

We need a Finance Manager who:

  • Works confidently with retail teams and isn’t afraid to support the floor to keep deals flowing.

  • Can bump customers for product professionally, ethically, and with strong rapport.

  • Keeps paperwork clean, compliant, and accurate, with zero tolerance for sloppiness.

  • Functions as a true team player, working seamlessly with sales, management, and support staff.

  • Thrives in a full dealership schedule and understands the pace of a busy Ford store.

  • Is proficient with Darwin, Dealertrack, and other dealership F amp;I software systems.

This role is for someone who already knows how to structure, present, and fund deals with skill and precision.

Responsibilities
  • Present and sell F amp;I products confidently while maintaining transparency and customer trust.

  • Ensure 100% compliance with federal, state, lender, and dealership regulations.

  • Maintain clean, accurate paperwork and submit deals promptly for quick funding.

  • Work closely with sales and desk managers to maximize profits and improve CSI.

  • Support retail operations and help maintain consistent deal flow.

  • Utilize Darwin, Dealertrack, and other systems efficiently and with expertise.

Requirements
  • Proven, successful experience as an automotive Finance Manager (minimum 1–2 years; must be able to run a deal on day one).

  • Strong product knowledge (VSC, GAP, prepaid maintenance, ancillary products, rate structures).

  • Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.

  • High integrity, strong compliance habits, and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work full dealership hours, including Saturdays until 6 PM.

  • Proficiency with Darwin, Dealertrack, and dealership management systems.

What We Offer
  • Strong team atmosphere in a professional, high-volume Ford store.

  • Competitive pay plan with significant earning potential.

  • Predictable hours with no late Saturdays.

  • Career growth within a respected automotive group.
