Szott M-59 Toyota, a leading franchised dealership in Southeastern Michigan, is seeking an experienced and results-driven Automotive Finance Manager to join our successful team. If you thrive on maximizing profitability, maintaining strict compliance, and delivering an exceptional customer experience, we want to hear from you.

The Dealership Snapshot:

Join a stable and high-volume Toyota franchise dedicated to excellence. Our team manages a robust sales pipeline, moving approximately 100 new cars and 30 used cars per month. This role reports directly to the General Manager.

Your Success Metrics (KPIs):

Our Finance Manager is tasked with exceeding department goals and driving significant profitability. Success in this role means achieving and maintaining key performance indicators such as:

  • New Car PVR (Per Vehicle Retail) of ≥ $1500

  • Used Car PVR of ≥ $2,500

  • Average F&I Products per Unit of 3

Key Responsibilities:

The Automotive Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire financing process, ensuring a seamless and profitable customer-focused experience.

  • Customer Financing & Sales: Guide customers through all financing and leasing options, terms, and conditions to secure the best solutions for their needs.

  • F&I Product Promotion: Expertly present and sell all finance and insurance products, including extended warranties, GAP insurance, and maintenance plans, to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership revenue.

  • Lender Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with banks, credit unions, and other financial institutions to secure competitive rates for all customers, including those with varying credit profiles.

  • Profitability Management: Maximize dealership profitability by negotiating finance terms and maintaining high penetration rates for all finance and insurance offerings.

  • Compliance & Paperwork: Ensure all financing and sales documentation is accurate, complete, and in strict compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including TILA and Regulation Z requirements.

  • Team Collaboration: Partner closely with the Sales team to structure profitable deals that align with customer needs and dealership goals, and provide necessary training to staff on finance processes.

  • Reporting: Track and report on all relevant finance department performance metrics, including per-vehicle revenue and customer satisfaction scores.

The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate is a skilled negotiator with strong financial acumen, excellent customer service skills, and a deep understanding of automotive F&I products. You must be a proven leader dedicated to both high-level production and maintaining the highest CSI.
