Plant Finance Manager

We are looking for our next Plant Finance Manager within our Pharma Operations Finance Business Partner team. The Plant Finance Manager will lead Operations Finance Business Partner organization within USA entities while directly overseeing our Newark plant product costing, being responsible for product costing accuracy, inventory analysis, challenging and supporting operations in its pursuit for improvement.

This position is located in Newark - DE.

Compensation:

The current salary range for this role is estimated to be $146,000- $198,000. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation. The specific compensation offered to a candidate will be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

What You'll Do:

  • Coordinate and provide guidance to plant controllers of USA Operations
  • Perform and guide Cost Management & Process Improvement activities
    • Oversee review of unit prices for manufactured materials and ensure Material Master Data accuracy across plants
    • Lead standard and actual cost estimate reviews and identify opportunities for cost optimization and improved performance
    • Coordinate with Supply Chain and plant teams to ensure the accuracy of process orders, inventory data, and related financial inputs
    • Drive continuous improvement in plant finance processes, reporting, and controls.
    • Promote harmonized costing methodologies and financial practices across the U.S. manufacturing footprint.
  • Lead Budgeting & Forecasting activities
  • Act as Business Partner of Operations within USA
  • People Management & Leadership
  • Ensure Internal Controls & Compliance related to product costing and inventory

What You'll Need:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; a Master's degree or MBA is highly preferred.
  • Professional finance qualification, such as CFA, ACCA, or CPA, is an advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in manufacturing accounting
  • SAP FI/CO experience is required

Specific requirements:

Proven track record of developing and implementing successful organizational change. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. High level of integrity and professionalism. Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Supervisory Responsibility

  • This role will have 2 direct reports

Work Environment

  • This is a hybrid role, expected to spend 3 days a week on site/plant.
