Our team is looking for a Finance & Accounting Manager to join them. You will report to the Finance Director, with a strong dotted line to the Site Controller, and will have an onsite work structure in Creedmoor, NC.

The Finance & Accounting Manager is a key role in our finance team supporting the Finance Director and many of the senior leadership in our fast-growing and rapidly changing business. This is a chance to make a real and rapid difference in leading value-add financial analysis across the business while challenging the status quo.

This role will also be an accounting leader internally within the Finance Department. This person should be driven and able to form relationships with key site personnel to influence and create outcomes. This role will be seen as a key business partner across the Supply Chain, Operations, and Quality departments.

To be considered for the Finance and Accounting Manager opening, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related business field.
  • Advanced Excel skills; can complete financial modelling.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels.
  • Preferably experience with Onestream or Epicor
  • Preferably experience with PowerBI or equivalent advanced analytics
  • MBA or CPA a plus

As a Finance and Accounting Manager you will:

  • Foster a two-way strategic relationship with Supply Chain, Operations, and Quality Departments to take joint ownership with the business for the delivery of financial targets.
  • Play an influential role in relevant management teams and steering group meetings supporting the delivery of initiatives and strategic alignment.
  • Guide and support the site leadership team by constructively challenging to test decisions and gain an intimate knowledge of the business.
  • Key leader within month-end close and operating cash forecasting and reporting.
  • Inventory reporting and analysis including inventory projections by company and license.
  • Indirect cost reporting and analysis, key point of contact for department heads in managing indirect spend.
  • Support Forecasting and Budget cycles using historical data, while also aligning to the 5-year vision of the Creedmoor site.
  • Variance Analysis between Actuals, Prior Year, Budget and Forecast including root cause analysis and providing recommendations for corrective action.
  • Contribution to monthly business reporting e.g. Finance Pack and driving resulting actions and key messages through the business for relevant areas.
  • Maintain an effective control environment - Identify areas of potential control weakness, suggest, and implement solutions to minimize risk.
  • Evaluate, forecast, and manage CAPEX from initial request for approval to final project completion while understanding ROI.
  • Investigate and understand manufacturing variances, driving resolution for variances driven by incorrect data or product standards.
  • Maintain an active support role through both internal and external audit processes.
  • This role currently has one direct report (Finance Analyst).
