We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Project Finance team. This is an early-career opportunity designed for someone with a strong foundation in financial analysis and data modeling, who is eager to grow their skills in proposal development, pricing strategy, and business operations within a consulting environment.

This role is financially driven at its core, with a primary focus on analyzing data, building models, and supporting pricing decisions, while gaining exposure to proposal coordination and cross-functional collaboration.


What You'll Do

Financial Analysis & Pricing Support

  • Build and maintain Excel-based financial models to support proposal pricing, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Analyze cost structures, staffing assumptions, and pricing scenarios to support competitive and sustainable proposals.
  • Perform variance analysis, margin analysis, and financial scenario modeling to inform decision-making.
  • Partner with senior team members to translate project requirements into structured financial models.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial data across proposals and projects.

 

Project Financial Support

  • Assist in monitoring project financial performance, including tracking budgets, forecasts, and actuals.
  • Support project teams with basic financial reporting and analysis.
  • Identify trends or variances and escalate insights to senior finance partners.

Additional Responsibilities may include:

Process Improvement & Tools

  • Identify opportunities to improve financial modeling, reporting, and proposal workflows.
  • Support enhancements to Excel tools, templates, and financial tracking processes.
  • Explore and apply emerging tools (including AI-enabled solutions) to improve efficiency, accuracy, and insights in financial analysis.

Proposal Development Support

  • Support the development of proposal budgets, including cost estimates, pricing structures, and resource plans.
  • Assist in coordinating proposal inputs across technical, operational, and financial teams.
  • Help ensure proposals are delivered on time, with accurate and well-structured financial components.
  • Contribute to proposal documentation by supporting financial narratives and assumptions.
