Job description

Description:

Company Overview:

FilterEasy, LLC is a leading manufacturer and direct-to-consumer distributor of air and water filter products. The subscription-based service eliminates the stress of remembering when to change filters in the home to maintain healthy air and drinking water. With just a few clicks via its modern e-commerce design, customers are set up to receive their filters on-time, when it’s time to change them - never having to think about it again. FilterEasy is private equity backed by Great Hill Partners.

Job Summary - This is an On-Site Position

FilterEasy is seeking an Applications Support Analyst to ensure the seamless flow of data across our enterprise ecosystem. Working closely with our Applications Support team, you will be a key guardian of data integrity between NetSuite, Oracle Cloud WMS, BigCommerce, and our custom AWS applications.

This is a highly collaborative role that sits at the intersection of technology and business operations. Your primary mission is to identify system discrepancies, validate that data syncs are performing accurately, and work alongside stakeholders in Operations, Finance, and Marketing to turn their needs into a structured roadmap for our developers.

This role includes participation in a shared on-call rotation to support 24/7 manufacturing and warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

System sync & data validation
  • Integrity monitoring: Perform regular checks to ensure data (orders, inventory, financial records) matches perfectly between BigCommerce, NetSuite, Oracle Cloud WMS, and custom AWS tools.
  • Issue identification: Act as the "early warning system" for the technical team by identifying sync failures or data drifts.
  • Escalation management: Once a technical issue is identified, document the symptoms and collaborate with the appropriate developers to see the resolution through to completion.
  • Post-transition validation: As system modules are updated or migrated to new AWS infrastructure, serve as the primary validator to ensure "business as usual" data accuracy.
Stakeholder partnership & backlog management
  • Cross-department liaison: Support three primary internal pillars: Operations (50%), Finance/Accounting (40%), and Marketing (10%).
  • Requirement gathering: Meet with department leads to understand operational bottlenecks and translate those into clear, actionable requirements.
  • Backlog stewardship: Maintain and prioritize the platform enhancement backlog, ensuring developers are working on the items that provide the highest value to the business.
  • UAT coordination: Organize and lead User Acceptance Testing, ensuring that new features meet the original business requirements before they go live.
Team collaboration
  • Peer partnership: Partner with fellow tech team members to learn the nuances of the FilterEasy tech stack and maintain internal documentation.
  • Rotational support: Participate in a shared on-call rotation with two other team members (expanding to a 4-person rotation in 2027) to support 24/7 manufacturing and warehouse operations.
Requirements:

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in Applications Support, Business Systems Analysis, or a related technical-operational role.
  • Systems Exposure: Direct experience supporting enterprise-grade platforms (ERP, WMS, or eCommerce).
  • Analytical mindset: A natural talent for spotting patterns and identifying where data doesn't "look right."
  • Interpersonal skills: Proven ability to build relationships with various departments, from warehouse staff to accountants.
  • Organizational skills: Experience managing a backlog or project list using tools like Jira, Monday.com, or similar.
  • Communication: Strong ability to document technical issues clearly for developers while providing concise status updates to business stakeholders.
  • Data querying: Comfort running basic SQL queries or data lookups to validate records and investigate discrepancies.
Preferred skills
  • Platform exposure: Familiarity with AWS, NetSuite, Oracle Cloud WMS, or BigCommerce.
  • Integration awareness: Basic understanding of how data moves between systems (via middleware like Boomi or API-based architectures).
  • Industry experience: Background in e-commerce, subscription services, or manufacturing/logistics is a major plus.
The FilterEasy Environment

You'll be joining a team that values proactive problem-solving and clear communication. While you aren't expected to write the code, you are expected to be the expert on how our systems should behave for our users. This role offers a clear path to deepening your expertise in enterprise-grade software.
