Job description

Sunshine Sachs Morgan & Lylis is a leading global communications agency built to navigate the complexities of a hyper-connected world. We represent the icons and innovators shaping culture-from global heritage corporations and high-growth tech startups to the non-profits, creative legends, and visionary founders who define the global discourse.
Our expertise spans the full cultural spectrum. We operate at the intersection of entertainment, social impact, corporate reputation, and consumer lifestyle, executing seamlessly across traditional media, social-first outlets, brand partnerships, and influencer ecosystems. Whether we are navigating complex crisis management, elevating advocacy campaigns, or launching global consumer brands, we are storytellers at our core.
You may notice our digital presence is purposefully understated. While our clients are global household names, we believe the best work happens when the spotlight stays firmly on those we represent. We fly under the radar by design - preferring to let our campaigns, and our results, speak for themselves.
If you're driven, intentional, and ready to do good, we're ready for you!
Sunshine Sachs Morgan & Lylis has an immediate opening for a strategic, high-energy Senior Account Executive to join our Film/TV/Streaming team. You've been in the trenches for about 4 years and are looking for your next challenge. You have a strong background in media relations, a deep bench of press contacts, and a clear understanding of how to maneuver the many facets of a major release.
We are looking for someone who understands the entertainment ecosystem as a whole-from the prestige of a festival premiere to the complexities of an awards campaign and the data-driven reality of the modern streaming landscape. You are an expert at building buzz, managing talent, and ensuring a project doesn't just launch, but breaks through the noise.
The Role:
  • Comprehensive Campaign Lead: Supporting the development and execution of 360-degree communications strategies. You know how to architect a narrative that begins at a festival and sustains through a project's global premiere and beyond.
  • Modern Release Strategy: You understand the evolving communications landscapeYou know how to integrate creators, social media moments, and digital partnerships into a traditional PR plan to ensure our projects remain culturally relevant in 2026.
  • Festival & Awards Stewardship: Navigate the high-pressure environments of major film festivals and awards seasons. You possess the professional poise to manage talent on the ground and the strategy to secure the coverage that influences voters and audiences alike.
  • Event Excellence: Plan and lead media-specific moments, including influencer screenings, press conferences, and red carpets. You own the ground game: developing invite lists, managing RSVPs, wrangling media on-site, and distributing results.
  • Content Command: Produce sophisticated, client-ready materials including press releases, blog content, creative pitches, and executive briefing notes. You are a fast, persuasive writer who supports the Oxford Comma.
  • Account Stewardship: Partner with Senior Managers to achieve deliverables for a roster of 4-6 clients. You are the glue of the account, ensuring that client requests are handled with efficiency, total precision, and professional poise.
  • Mentorship in Action: Proactively mentor and teach junior team members. This is incredibly important to us-you are a primary driver of our team's growth and a steward of our high-stakes work approach.
  • Relationship Driven: You recognize that we are a people business. You lead by example in how you treat your co-workers, partners, and the media-prioritizing trust, discretion, and integrity in every interaction.

Who You Are:
  • The Entertainment Specialist: 4+ years of PR experience with a specific focus on film and television. You have a proven track record of supporting successful launches across theatrical and streaming platforms.
  • Fluency in the New Landscape: You have a well-rounded understanding of how traditional media relations, creator ecosystems, and social content work together to create a complete strategy for a 2026 audience.
  • The Tenacious Pitcher: You have a growing list of relationships with entertainment media and know how to leverage those connections to secure impactful, career-moving opportunities for your clients.
  • High EQ: You possess high EQ and situational awareness. You have the confidence to "hustle" for a project and the judgment to make the call in high-pressure environments.
  • Entrepreneurial & Curious: You have an innate curiosity and a proactive attitude. You love a good brainstorm and aren't afraid to bring a bold, new idea to the table.
  • Driven to Over-Deliver: You take genuine pride in exceeding expectations and are energized by work that allows you to be a part of something good.
