Position Overview:
The Marketing & PR Coordinator supports the Production Manager in developing and executing marketing, PR, social media, and business development strategies for the company's vertical video content and integrated game projects within the app. This role requires a strong understanding of social media ecosystems, user-generated content (UGC), promotional integrations, and mid-level knowledge of film production workflows. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and able to move initiatives forward independently when needed.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing, PR & Business Development / Sales
  • Assist in developing and executing marketing and PR campaigns for vertical content and game-integrated media.
  • Coordinate press releases, outreach, media lists, and communication with influencers, partners, and external agencies.
  • Support brand positioning and messaging across all platforms.
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide analytics, reports, and recommendations.
  • Identify and pursue partnership opportunities with brands, agencies, creators, and media groups that align with the company's app and content initiatives.
  • Assist in pitching promotional integrations and sponsorship packages to potential partners.
  • Support the Production Manager and executives in generating new revenue opportunities through content collaborations, branded content, and in-app promotional placements.
  • Maintain relationships with partners and potential clients, ensuring follow-up, timely communication, and tracking of outreach efforts.

Social Media & UGC
  • Give directions to create, manage, and track social media plans and content calendars aligned with production timelines.
  • Oversee UGC initiatives, challenges, creator collaborations, and app-based engagement strategies.
  • Ensure cohesive cross-platform messaging to drive awareness and user acquisition for the company's app.
  • Analyze social trends, audience behavior, and platform updates to optimize campaign performance.

Production Integration
  • Collaborate with the Production Manager to align marketing efforts with production schedules, shoots, and release plans.
  • Manage on-set and post-production marketing elements (BTS content, talent social deliverables, vertical captures, etc.).
  • Coordinate with production teams to ensure marketing needs are accounted for in budgets, schedules, and production logistics.

Budgeting & Scheduling
  • Assist in preparing and tracking marketing budgets, vendor costs, social media spend, and promotional allocations.
  • Review production schedules to identify marketing opportunities and deadlines.
  • Support financial reporting and reconciliation related to marketing/PR activities.

Operational Responsibilities
  • Maintain strong communication between Production, Marketing, and App/Product teams.
  • Work independently when necessary to initiate outreach, coordinate creators, or execute social media tasks.
  • Maintain organized documentation, campaign assets, schedules, and reporting.

Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of experience in marketing, PR, social media, digital content, production, or business development.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc.) and UGC ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with film production processes, vertical video workflows, and basic production terminology.
  • Experience coordinating budgets, schedules, and financial documentation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Creative mindset with awareness of current trends in social media and digital entertainment.
  • Proficiency with social media management tools, basic analytics, and standard office software.

Preferred Skills
  • Experience in app-based content ecosystems or interactive/vertical media.
  • Background in entertainment marketing, PR, talent/social creator management, or business development.
