Description
TeleSolv Consulting has an opportunity for an Onsite File Clerk supporting a Federal Government client. This role is ideal for individuals with strong attention to detail who are comfortable working in a structured, high-volume documentation environment. The File Clerk will support daily records management operations, ensuring accurate organization, maintenance, and processing of physical and electronic files in accordance with Government standards and deadlines.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform file operations, including storage, maintenance, interfiling, consolidations, and responding to file requests.
  • Update Government systems with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Conduct routine audits of file rooms and travel to additional Government facilities as needed for audit support.
  • Connect incoming correspondence to existing files and ensure proper organization.
  • Scan highโ€‘volume, multiโ€‘page documents.
  • File naturalization certificates and notices and support closeout of citizenship ceremonies.
  • Assist with forms and application processes connected to federal adjudication procedures.
  • Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust/Suitability Clearance through a Government agency.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry up to 45 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to perform work that requires mobility and repeated physical activity.
  • Strong ability to read and understand English proficiently.
  • Capability to manage physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, bending, stooping, climbing, and reaching.
  • Familiarity with administrative procedures and documentation workflows.
