Review daily production schedule to plan work and personnel assignments. Monitor and confirm that machinery, equipment, and facilities are properly maintained and sanitized. Maintain good employee relations and adherence to labor contract provisions.
Prioritize work orders and schedule mechanics and supervisors according to immediacy and necessity of orders. Monitor all production areas to ensure proper functioning of equipment and machinery.Perform skilled maintenance activities including construction, welding, brazing, soldering, plumbing and hydraulics. Adjust, repair and replace electrical and electronic equipment.
Participate in HAZMAT team to ensure preparedness for emergency situations. Promote and encourage safety in all aspects of maintenance. Arrange for completion of required paperwork, such as payroll.
Attend meetings as scheduled. Other duties as assigned.Principle Responsibilities:KPI Management: Responsible to oversee department targets and controls. Monitor shift operations and productivity.
Maximize the efficiency of the department and ensure Daily Production plan targets available for the Operations team in time for an effective shift start.To ensure effective communications at all levels and complete all necessary administrative work.
