About the role

Join Origin’s CSG team as a Field Commissioning Engineer and be part of bringing major energy projects to life.

Based in Surat Basin on a 15/13 roster, you'll travel to regional and remote sites across Queensland, working hands-on with field teams, contractors and operations crews to get new infrastructure safely commissioned and ready for service. This is a great opportunity for a trade-qualified professional who enjoys being on site, solving real-world problems and seeing projects through from construction to start-up. (FIFO ex Brisbane or Live Local)

You'll play a key role in testing, energising and commissioning field equipment, making sure assets are safe, reliable and ready for long-term operation.

What will you bring?

• Experience in commissioning, maintenance, construction, operations or project delivery within energy, resources, infrastructure, manufacturing or a similar industrial environment.
• A trade qualification in Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
• Engineering qualifications are welcome, but this role is equally suited to experienced trade professionals with strong commissioning and field experience.
• A practical, hands-on approach and the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems in the field.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with contractors, operators and project teams.
• The ability to manage competing priorities and keep work progressing safely on site.
• A genuine commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
