What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Fieldglass Remote Consultant, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Fieldglass Remote Consultant, you need expertise in vendor management systems (VMS), specifically SAP Fieldglass, along with a background in HR, procurement, or IT and a relevant bachelor’s degree. Proficiency in configuring SAP Fieldglass modules, integrating with ERP systems, and familiarity with related certifications are highly valued. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and effective virtual communication skills help build relationships with clients and resolve issues remotely. These skills ensure seamless deployment, optimization, and support of Fieldglass solutions, driving client satisfaction and operational efficiency.

How does a Fieldglass Remote role typically interact with on-site teams and vendors?

In a Fieldglass Remote position, professionals are responsible for managing external workforce programs, often collaborating closely with on-site teams, hiring managers, and third-party vendors. Communication is primarily conducted through digital platforms, requiring strong coordination and proactive follow-ups to ensure smooth onboarding, compliance, and timesheet management. Regular virtual meetings and status updates are common, and building solid remote relationships is essential to address challenges quickly and maintain program efficiency.

What is a Fieldglass Remote job?

A Fieldglass Remote job refers to a position managed through SAP Fieldglass, a cloud-based vendor management system, where the work can be performed remotely rather than on-site. These jobs are often related to contingent labor, such as freelancers, contractors, or consultants, and can cover a wide range of industries and roles. Fieldglass helps organizations manage and track their external workforce, making it easy for companies to hire, onboard, and oversee remote workers efficiently. Remote Fieldglass jobs offer flexibility for workers and help businesses access a global talent pool. Candidates typically apply through the Fieldglass platform or a company's specific Fieldglass portal.

Job description

Location: Remote (US) -- you must reside in the United States

Compensation: $71,000-$100,000 base salary, plus commission

Employment: Full-time, permanent (direct hire)

A fast-growing staffing and workforce-solutions company is hiring a Senior Sales Executive for its fully remote national sales team. This is a pure hunter role: your focus is new client acquisition. If you are not a hunter, this is not the role for you.

What You'll Own

- Prospect and close new business with Fortune 1000 and mid-market companies across the US

- Sell direct-hire and contingent professional staffing services plus an innovative MSP-for-Direct-Hire model

- Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach through new-client onboarding

- Navigate complex enterprise sales cycles and influence decision-makers at every level

- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and customers

- Attend industry events and grow US market share

What You'll Bring

- 7+ years selling professional staffing (IT, Finance & Accounting, Engineering) to mid-market and enterprise clients

- A proven track record of net-new client acquisition, not account management

- Strong relationships across the talent ecosystem (Talent Acquisition, Procurement, MSP and contingent-workforce program leaders)

- Established connections with decision-makers in Tech, Finance, and Engineering

- An entrepreneurial, hunter mindset and consultative selling skills

- A bachelor's degree (or an equivalent track record) and tech fluency (Dynamics or a similar CRM, Zoom, Excel, PowerPoint)

Nice to Have

- Experience selling MSP or VMS solutions (managed staffing programs)

- Familiarity with VMS platforms such as Fieldglass, Beeline, or VNDLY

If you know the professional staffing world, you are wired to hunt, and you have a network that opens doors at Tech, Finance, and Engineering enterprises, this remote seat has real upside.
