Job description

About Us:
Innatera is a rapidly growing Dutch semiconductor company that develops ultra-efficient neuromorphic processors for AI at the edge. These microprocessors mimic the brain's mechanisms for processing fast data streams from sensors, enabling complex turn-key sensor analytics functionalities, with 10,000x higher performance per watt than competing solutions. Innatera's technology serves as a critical enabler for next-generation use cases in the IoT, wearable, embedded, and automotive domains.
We are currently seeking a talented Senior Field Application Engineer based in the USA to support our product development and customer implementation efforts. The ideal candidate is a technically hands-on problem solver who sits within the engineering team, actively supporting customers through complex integrations and translating field feedback into product improvements.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Please note that Innatera does not provide sponsorship for employment visas (e.g., H-1B, TN) at this time.
  • This is a remote position; however, it requires frequent travel throughout North America to provide on-site support to our clients. Candidates must possess a valid passport and be able to travel internationally.

WE WILL TRUST YOU WITH:
  • Bridging the gap between the market and our internal teams by actively translating client feedback and usage scenarios into actionable product improvements.
  • Build deep technical relationships with customer architects and engineering management, serving as their primary technical advisor
  • Dealing with technical questions/issues from customers, and assisting our customers in accelerating their development of our technology
  • Training customers (alongside the engineering teams) by organising workshops and training sessions
  • Help and guide customers through the design process including architecture reviews, schematic reviews, design-in support and training customers on product features.
  • Partner with Sales to identify opportunities and articulate the value of Innatera technology to secure wins
  • Collaborating actively with the SDK/EDK, architecture, and Product owner teams

YOUR EXPERIENCE INCLUDES:
  • At least 7 years of experience in a technical customer-facing role (FAE, System Architect, or similar roles) within the Semiconductor industry
  • Experience with AI Embedded Applications
  • Experience working in a global environment, bridging the gap between customer requirements in North America and European/Western HQ engineering teams

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field
  • Great coding skills in Python, C/C++
  • Knowledge of ML/AI Framework(s): TensorFlow, PyTorch
  • Knowledge of Embedded Development Kit(s), and an AI background
  • Computer architectural knowledge is a big advantage
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility and outstanding communication & customer service skills

WE OFFER YOU:
  • A dynamic working environment around a fearless engineering culture,
  • Ambitious teams with the freedom to innovate,
  • A Flexible working environment (work from home policy, flexible working hours, advantageous holiday scheme),
  • An inclusive company culture that embraces communication, diversity, and support around holistic and personal development.

HOW WE HIRE:
Whether you're passionate about microarchitecture, excited by verification or physical design, driven by supporting operations, building strong teams, or mastering the details of accounting, we'd love to hear from you!
