Job description

ENV Services, Inc has been a nationally respected leader in calibration, certification and decontamination services. We are seeking a Field Service Technician to provide testing, maintenance and repair of HEPA filtered devices, including Biological Safety Cabinets, Clean Benches, and Clean rooms.
Responsibilities

  • Using our test equipment, you will learn to test, troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment at customer locations.
  • Training provided, both in classroom and mentorship with experienced technicians.
  • Good troubleshooting skills are required to assess, diagnose and repair the equipment.
  • Provide required maintenance for clients in a safe manner and communicate with other technicians to find solutions for service issues.
  • Prepare paperwork at the completion of each job to record time, repairs completed and parts installed.
  • Technician must be able to work independently without supervision and represent the company in a professional manner with a neat appearance at all times.
  • A company vehicle is provided, overnight travel can be anticipated.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should have a sound mechanical and electrical aptitude and troubleshooting skills as well as strong computer and organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer contact skills.
  • Technician must have a valid state driver's license with clean driving record to operate company vehicles, ability to pass a background check, customer drug testing and safety training.
  • Calibration or HVAC experience in the pharmaceutical and biomedical fields are highly desired.

Position Requirements

  • Physical ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in various positions (bending, kneeling, sitting, standing).
  • Must be willing to drive for long trips and travel overnight.
  • Work from a six foot ladder.
