Job description

A Field Service Technician for our Greenville, SC branch provides service and repair for forklifts and material handling equipment at customer facilities. This role requires strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, the ability to work independently in the field, and a commitment to delivering safe, reliable repairs that keep customer operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair forklifts and material handling equipment (electric, LPG, diesel, and gas)
  • Perform planned maintenance, safety inspections, and emergency repairs
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and electronic systems
  • Communicate clearly with customers regarding repairs, recommendations, and equipment status
  • Complete service reports and documentation accurately and on time
  • Maintain service vehicle, tools, and inventory in a professional manner
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience repairing forklifts or heavy equipment preferred
  • Experience working with multiple brands of forklifts preferred
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying environments
