Red Lightning Field Service, LLC is one of Florida’s fastest-growing service providers for diesel trucks and heavy equipment. We specialize in on-site diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance, helping our clients keep their equipment running at peak performance.
Job Summary

We are hiring a Field Service Mechanic to diagnose and repair diesel trucks and heavy equipment in the field across the state of Florida. This role is ideal for a self-starter who enjoys working independently, traveling, and solving tough mechanical challenges.
Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems on-site
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs
  • Travel daily to customer locations (some overnight stays required)
  • Maintain service vehicle, tools, and inventory
  • Complete work orders and communicate job status with dispatch
Qualifications

  • 5+ years of diesel and heavy equipment repair experience
  • Strong knowledge of engine diagnostics, hydraulics, and electrical systems
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL a plus)
  • Must be able to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Basic computer or tablet skills for service logs
