Regional Sales Associate (RSA)
The Musco Operational Field Sales Team has an opening for a Regional Sales Associate at our Oskaloosa, IA office. If your experience aligns with the qualifications outlined below, we look forward to hearing from you!
Essential Criteria:
  • College degree in Sports Management, Sales, Entrepreneurship, Business, or a related field
  • 1-5 years of previous work experience preferred; entry-level college graduate will be considered
  • Passion for selling and building trusting relationships with our customers
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present in front of groups
  • Proven organizational and time-management skills, ability to manage the workload as it relates to customer visits, project deadlines, and internal communications
  • Work collaboratively with the internal Team to support customers
  • Self-disciplined to work independently to achieve results
  • Innovative problem-solving with a team-oriented mindset.
  • Tenacious, able to persevere through sales challenges and setbacks
  • Work collaboratively with Musco's internal Sales Coordinator Team and external Field Sales Team to support customers.
  • Strong technical aptitude, ability to understand and present Musco products and services
  • Motivated to learn and develop
  • Minimum 50% travel required
  • Willingness to relocate outside of Iowa in the future

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Generate market information relevant to the assigned territory
  • Qualify long-range projects via face-to-face customer meetings
  • Perform cold calling to selected schools and municipalities
  • Effectively present and differentiate Musco's products and services to customers with projects timed to order exceeding 12 months
  • Conduct field market research examining the potential sales of new products and services
  • Provide support to Sales Management to achieve short and long-term strategic goals
  • Attend tradeshows and conferences and support the internal Team with initiatives
