Field Operations Technician I
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL

We're the largest privately held spine company and among the largest family-owned medical technology companies in the world, dedicated to innovation, surgeon partnerships, and improving patient outcomes in spine care. As a Field Operations Technician I in our Operations function within the Spine division, you'll play a critical hands-on role in ensuring surgical sets are fully replenished, inspected, and 100% ready for surgery - directly supporting operating room schedules and patient care in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do:
  • Physically receive and unpackage incoming inventory
  • Conduct inventory, replenishment, and inspection of incoming branch surgical sets to prepare them for redistribution
  • Perform accurate inventory transactions to maintain proper traceability
  • Prepare and package surgical sets for shipment to hospitals and branches
  • Coordinate with courier and transportation services for timely product distribution
  • Rotate on-call support for nights and weekends as required
  • Comply with all manufacturing procedures, training, and quality standards
  • Ensure all daily orders are fulfilled while meeting or exceeding KPI targets for quality and service
  • Assist with cycle counting inventory at hospitals and office locations throughout the territory

What You Bring:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of work experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Knowledge of the medical device industry and hospital customer base preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities and multitask effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain composure in stressful situations
  • Physical ability to frequently use hands for handling equipment and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds
