Position Description

Looma is hiring a part-time Field Operations Technician (W-2) to support the installation and ongoing maintenance of our tablet displays inside retail partner locations.ย  This role offers flexible, non-traditional hours that vary from week to week based on store needs, pilot programs, and rollout schedules-making it ideal for candidates seeking supplemental income, flexible work arrangements, or hands-on experience with a growing ad-tech company.ย  ย  As a Field Operations Technician, you are Looma's face in the field. You'll ensure our displays are fully operational, visually polished, and well-received by store teams.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare, install, and maintain Looma tablet displays in retail environments.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and mounting issues, including on-site reboots, remounting tablets on shelves, and correcting cable management and power connections.
  • Install and maintain display decor and signage.
  • Perform routine store audits to ensure displays are online, clean, and operating at peak performance.
  • Respond to and prioritize urgent maintenance requests.
  • Support new pilot programs and large-scale retail rollouts.

Who You Are

We're looking for people who are:

  • Self-directed - Comfortable working independently in retail environments
  • Detail-oriented - You notice crooked signage, loose cables, and screens that are offline
  • Professional and personable - Respectful, courteous, and able to build rapport with store staff
  • Comfortable with tech - Confident troubleshooting tablets, power, and connectivity issues

Requirements

Structure & Compensation

This is a part-time, W-2 position with a $22/hour starting rate.ย  Hours fluctuate based on operational demand.
