Field Merchandising Specialist

Oshkosh, WI Area


This Role will require planned daily travel with Company Vehicle.

As a Field Merchandising Specialist, you play a critical role on our Field Operations team. In this Role, you are responsible for working with our major Retail partners facilitating employee and customer trainings, executing new store planogram sets and current store resets, weekly merchandising updates and providing best in class customer service.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with assigned Retail locations updating planograms, completing instore projects and servicing Vendor lines we represent.
  • Communicate and collaborate with managers and employees in assigned retail locations, building strong relationships, troubleshooting issues and keeping the team informed on project progress.
  • Prepare and facilitate store employee product knowledge training seminars, store sales promotions, department meetings, in-store demos and contractor events.
  • Partner with the Field Operations Team to coordinate, plan and execute major store resets and grand openings.
  • Engage customers by answering questions, serving as a subject matter expert on our brands and products, and delivering top-tier customer service.
  • Complete projects updates with a high level of accuracy and detail and report on store visits using Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with fellow Field Merchandising Specialists, sharing knowledge and best practices to help the team grow.
  • All other duties, tasks and projects assigned by leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • HS Diploma/GED and in-store Retail and Merchandising experience required.
  • This role requires 90% travel within the assigned territory, including daily store visits and overnight stays as needed. A Company Vehicle is provided for travel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on best-in-class customer service and building retail and vendor partnerships.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, time management, and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently, managing tasks and priorities efficiently.
  • Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
