What are we looking for?


We are looking for Director of Product who is a proven product leader and can develop Product Managers, partner effectively with Engineering and Architecture, help lead a major modernization effort, and drive sound decisions across complex organizational and technical challenges.

The Product Director provides strategic, organizational, and technical leadership across a portfolio of products and modernization initiatives. This role develops Product Managers, aligns technology investments with business objectives, helps reduce technical risk, and supports long term business growth.

Success in this role requires strong leadership, sound judgment, and the ability to bring people together across functions to achieve meaningful outcomes.

This position can be located in our Raleigh, NC or Jacksonville, FL office, and is a hybrid position, requiring 2-3 days a week in office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Product Managers through mentoring, career development, performance management, and growth opportunities.

  • Establish and strengthen a consistent and effective product management discipline across the organization.

  • Partner with Engineering and Architecture leadership to guide modernization efforts and align priorities, goals, and expected outcomes.

  • Lead product initiatives focused on platform modernization, replacement of legacy capabilities, and reduction of technical debt while maintaining focus on business outcomes.

  • Define product priorities and evaluate tradeoffs across competing business and technology needs.

  • Take ownership of complex product and organizational challenges and drive resolution through effective decision making and collaboration.

  • Identify strategic risks, dependencies, and obstacles and work across stakeholder groups to address them.

  • Lead organizational change efforts by building alignment, stakeholder engagement, and adoption of new approaches and capabilities.

  • Communicate strategy, progress, risks, and key decisions to executive leadership.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer focus within the product organization.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of Product Management, Product Leadership, or related experience.

  • 3+ years leading Product Managers or cross functional product teams.

  • Experience working closely with software development and architecture teams.

  • Demonstrated success leading large scale modernization, transformation, or platform initiatives.

  • Working knowledge of enterprise software architecture, integrations, APIs, data management, and modern software delivery practices.

  • Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, evaluate tradeoffs, and make decisions that support long term business objectives.

  • Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within financial services, real estate technology, or other highly regulated industries.

  • Experience leading enterprise software or platform organizations through significant technology transformation efforts.

  • Experience working with Agile product development teams.
